rootbeer on the roof.
NYFW had a real effect on me stylistically & personally. first off, i now use ridiculous words like ‘stylistically’ but aside from my prolifically expanded slightly affected vocabulary, i’ve also started taking more style risks. i wear what i want, rather than what i think people here want to see. granted, being in NYC does help but my wardrobe has gotten more fun recently.

camo in the rain.
couple of overcast days here - i try to keep it simple in the rain. good coat, fun layering and comfortable denim. I landed this killer shirt from my buddy Alex Kang over at 50/50 supply co. Even though camo isnt my strong suit, this simple oxford with camo accents add’s that element in smooth way.
irony - the camo shirt that’ll make you stand out.

simple winter wardrobe.
A few weeks ago i picked up a new boot from the Johnston & Murphy 1850 collection. I wasnt sure what to expect as my experience with J&M in the past has been very minimal. But i’m happy to say, after a few wears, a couple spilt drinks & lots of stepping on chewing gum - they’re holding up great. I still don’t consider myself a chelsea boot guy, but they certainly offer a nice alternative to my usual shoe.
Check out the collection: Johnston & Murphy 1850
Headed over to the Giles & Brother showroom last week to check out their collection and meet the infamous Philip Crangi. One of the most stylish, real & charismatic guys i’ve had the pleasure of meeting. His work space is a thing of art, producing art.
It was really insightful to see the inspiration behind the collection and the actual studio space in which their first created.
